With Christmas just passing by it seems all of the pre-25th excitement is finally dwelling and settling down. I’m excited for the New Year, which will be filled with many resolutions that I’ll probably struggle to keep. No cigarettes is the biggest one and potentially dropping caffeine entirely. Hopefully January is a calm month, cause I’m going to need it

Fairfax county, seriously. I cannot afford this ticket.
EDIT*, and sitting on hold for 20 minutes isn’t too fun either. I really hope I’m able to extend this a couple days.
EDIT*2, I just got off the phone with the county clerk, they’re extending my payment date which is a HUGE weight off my shoulders.

Thank god for this, I was wracking my brain over how I was going to transfer my old posts. I mean it wasn’t too much but, I’m lazy

I absolutely love Tumblr, but one of the things that upset me most was that you couldn’t import posts from other blogs.
That is.. until I found the solution (by accident)! Jonathan Tran (www | tumblr) cooked up an importer that’ll transfer your blogger feed over to your Tumblr. You can read more details about it in this article. As you can see, the import tool (pictured below) asks for your password. If you don’t feel safe, then you can download the source and run it yourself!

It worked beautifully, for me. I had previously posted about how I wish I could transfer my dog’s blog over to tumblr and now she’s on Tumblr! Eh heh heh heh heh~~ The transfer went smoothly and there’s a kind of log that shows you which posts are being transferred. All 60 posts of mine were transferred in about 30 seconds.

Happy transfer!
Moving from blogspot to tumblr.
I’ve become really bored and distant with the blogspot site and have decided it’s time for a change, and perhaps more interesting posts. I chose tumblr, it seems more versatile in formatting and with a greater ease of use and variety in features. Time to start this slow move of transferring posts over, hopefully everything is seamless. I’ll add some more details and interesting stuff later on.
